Biological Activity
Selective D2-like dopamine receptor agonist (Ki values are 0.7, 1.5, 9.0 and 165 nM for D2, D3, D4 and D5 receptors respectively) that also displays high affinity for several serotonin receptor subtypes (Ki = 1.2 - 20.0 nM for 5-HT1A, 5-HT1D, 5-HT2A and 5-HT2B). Inhibits secretion of prolactin and growth hormone and reverses levodopa-induced dyskinesias in Parkinsonian monkeys.
